Olivia Helps With Christmas (2007)

      Olivia Helps with Christmas  by Ian Falconer (2007) is not at all fun for me. The illustrations are primarily in black, white, red, and green. The pages are full of empty space. The text is predictable. Fans of Olivia may welcome  this story to help celebrate the holiday because it models a popular approach to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day that will appeal to some families. This book is for an audience that wants simple text and spare pictures.
